Don't let the tropical look of our logo fool you, The Good Life Band delivers an unforgettable live music experience with a high-energy mix of danceable Rock & Roll, Country, and Jimmy Buffett-inspired classics spanning the 60s through the 90s. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, we are a dynamic six-piece group of seasoned musicians, each bringing exceptional talent and years of performance experience to the stage.

Our band has entertained thousands of fans across Central Florida, performing at renowned events and venues such as Bike Week, Rum Fest, and Margaritaville gatherings. Highlights include headlining the city of Winter Garden’s annual Halloween Experience, rocking New Year’s Eve in The Villages, and delighting crowds at community and corporate events throughout the region. Known for our professional presentation and ability to connect with diverse audiences, we’ve become a go-to choice for premier events in the area.

Peter Gould - Lead Vocals

Pete has been performing on stages all across the country for over 40 years. He is a multi-talented singer, performer, and actor who has appeared on screen in Motion Pictures ("My Girll", "The First Of May", etc. ) and Television ("The Adventures Of SUPERBOY", assorted national commercials, etc.) as well as starring roles in many theatrical shows and musicals ("It's A Wonderful Life", "Noises Off", "The Man Of LaMancha", etc.).

Pete has always had  a deep love for music and when the opportunity presented itself to be able to join The Good Life Band as their front man, he just couldn't say no. Every single song the band plays brings back different memories of Pete's life and he is thrilled to be able to share these songs with our audiences. Besides, it's all just great music, and Pete can never get enough of that!

Mike Stillwell- Lead Guitar
 

Mike was born in Ramapo, N.Y. in 1962. In 1985, he started his music career playing guitar in both cover and original music bands. Switching to the bass, Mike played with the local bands as well as touring and playing abroad on cruise ships.

 

In more recent projects, Mike has returned to his musical roots by going back to playing the guitar. Aside from being the Lead Guitarist for The Good Life Band, Mike enjoys doing solo acoustic work and filling in as lead guitar for various bands in the Daytona Beach/ Central Florida area.

Mike mostly plays Fender Telecasters and sometimes a PRS.

Jeff Gordon - Rhythm Guitar

Jeff began his musical journey at the age of 14, picking up the guitar and immersing himself in the world of music. With a passion for both acoustic and electric guitar, Jeff's diverse tastes span rock, country, funk, and tropical genres. Influenced by legends like Eric Clapton, James Taylor, and The Eagles, his style reflects a rich tapestry of classic sounds.

Upon retiring to Margaritaville in Florida, Jeff founded The Good Life Band. Now, he enjoys the laid-back lifestyle, performing rhythm guitar at community concerts and local clubs around Daytona Beach. Catch him living his dream and bringing joy to audiences with his music. Fins Up!

Mark Hansen - Bass Guitar

Mark's early beginnings in music started in his teens playing rhythm and lead guitars in high school bands and then the club circuit in Indiana after high school. He moved on to playing a variety of instruments and singing as a cantor in church for over 30 years. In 2022, Mark and his wife, Maria, moved to “Latitude Margaritaville” in Daytona Beach where he continues to play throughout Central Florida as the bassist for The Good Life Band and well as several other bands in the area.

Mark's influences range from the Classic, Southern and Blues Rock sounds of the 70's & 80's, Pop and 80's - 2000's Country Music. He's also opened for acts such as Survivor and 38 Special and plays a wide variety of instruments including Bass Guitar, Rhythm & Lead Guitar, Banjo, Keyboards, and also provides Backing Vocals for the band.

Darren Hall - Drums/ Percussion

Darren Hall is a native of North Eastern Pennsylvania and studied under Angelo Stella's drum school, with Jazz being his core.  He started playing the drums when he was just 3 years old and found a passion for it.  He has played in numerous bands for over 40 years, across many genres.  Darren has opened for Eddy Money, Nazareth, Quiet Riot, Bad Finger, 38 Special, and Edgar Winter, to name a few.  

 

He has also performed on Royal Caribbean cruise lines and in 2023, he moved to Daytona Beach, Florida and currently resides inside the Latitudes at Margaritaville community. Aside from playing with The Good Life Band, Darrin enjoys being able to continue to play with talented musicians in the area in every genre from Rock, to Country to Jazz.

Vincent Sestito - Keyboard/ Synthesizer
 
Vince was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He started his keyboard career at the young age of 5 and began playing out at the age of 12. Originally classically trained, he further studied many genres including Jazz and Classic Rock. He has picked up many additional instruments including guitar, bass, drums, and accordion. Throughout his career he has performed with some of the top bands in the Pittsburgh area and most recently joined The Good Life Band right here in Daytona Beach.

Vince and his wife Kat moved to Latitudes Margaritaville in Daytona Beach in 2024 to permanently escape the cold, harsh winters of PA and live the relaxing island lifestyle. Vince enjoys all styles of music but has a special place in his heart for 70’s ballads and rock.
